Appointment as Vice President at CPA Ireland

Deirdre Kiely FCPA had been re-elected Vice President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland (CPA Ireland). Ms. Kiely retook office at the Annual General Meeting of Members on April 27th held at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, 17 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2.

Ms. Kiely, is a Principal of Kiely & Co. Accountants and Business Advisers providing auditing and accountancy services to SME entrepreneurs. She also has extensive experience in the charities and not for profit sector and advises charities on financial reporting and the regulations of the Charities Act 2009.

Qualifying as a CPA in 1990 Ms. Kiely was elected to Council at the Institute in April 2012. She is a past chair and member of the Auditing Committee and Financial Reporting Committee at CPA Ireland.

Ms. Kiely is a qualified Barrister and an Accredited Mediator with Mediation Forum Ireland. She is a board member of the Social Finance Foundation and chair of the audit committee. She is a past board member of Enterprise Ireland’s South West Regional Board and the board of the children’s charity Barnardos.
